5K a year The Fuel Assistant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the fuel station within a convenience store.
This position assists the Fuel Manager in overseeing all aspects of the fuel department, including inventory management, customer service, compliance with safety regulations, and team supervision.
The Fuel Assistant Manager collaborates with various stakeholders to maintain a smooth and profitable fuel operation while delivering exceptional service to customers.
Essential Duties / Job
Responsibilities:

Be an integral participant of daily multi-faceted fuel related activities and responsibilities.

Deliver a full range of compliance adherence to State, Federal and local regulatory guidelines.
4.
Prepare all tax papers for multiple types/States on a regular basis and handle all informational requests.
5.
Responsible for accounts payable/receivable with attention to credibility.
6.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
7.
Review fuel gallon sales/balances and identify/investigate inconsistencies.
8.
Ensure pipeline fuel invoices are accurate and posted for reconciliation.
9.
Create and maintain comprehensive informational records and projects of fuel related equipment; maintenance; purchases; upgrades and cost control initiatives.
10.
Maintain all required daily/monthly/annual third party testing mandates required for State/Federal and local regulatory agencies.
11.
Consult with management for short and long term strategic decision making.
12.
Exhibit strong problem solving and organizational skills along with timely response and attention to detail.
13.
Maintain a positive relationship with service providers and interdepartmental teams when identifying and defining needs, projects and deadlines.
14.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Follow all schedules and personnel scheduling policies / procedures.
15.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Employment Standards:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in a business related field (some accounting courses).
Experience:
5
years in fuel industry, finance or environmental related background.
Required Hours:
Minimum 8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday.
Required Skills:
Must have a focused work ethic along with a positive attitude.
Must be highly organized and able to work well with others at all levels within the organization.
Advanced communication and computer skills including accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Word Additional Requirements:
Work varied hours, nights and weekends as dictated by pipeline schedule.
Associate must be flexible at all times.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen test and background check.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
